Do you have a middle schooler that enjoys theatre? Come check out our Middle School Theatre Team! It's like having a summer theatre camp in the middle of the school year!

What will we be doing, you ask...? A little bit of EVERYTHING THEATRE RELATED! We will be playing A LOT of theatre games. Theatre games are so helpful for getting students to connect and be comfortable with each other. Not to mention that they are SO MUCH FUN! We'll be doing skits, sketches, some script writing, some theatre technique, some musical theatre, short plays, some group theatre challenges and many more theatre related activities. This is a very active class. It's fast pace keeps students engaged from the moment they arrive to the moment they leave. This is a fantastic class for students that already take part in drama actvities because they will learn so many things that will help them hone their skills. BUT it is also a great class for beginners because it's not a performance based class. They can come, have a great time and not have the pressure of being "perfect" on stage. It's a very relaxed environment where FUN is the goal!

 

The Middle School Team is for 5th-8th graders, although 5th graders are also welcome to join Kids Theatre Adventure. We will meet every Monday evening from 6:00pm-7:00pm at The City Center for 7 weeks. The first session begins Monday, August 21st and ends Monday, October 9th. The cost is $80 for the 7 week session with a once a year $25 enrollment fee. The enrollment fee is per family, not student.

The $25 enrollment fee is required to hold your middle schooler's spot in class. $80 class payment is due the first day of class.

All members are asked to dress comfortably and modestly for class. No slip off shoes allowed.
